Ilustrace: Kniha obsahuje celkem 20 mědirytin dle Swinburnových kreseb. Před titulním listem rozkládací mapa Španělska (460 x 550 mm), v textu 19 (z toho 4 rozkládací) mědiryt. příloh s ukázkami maurské a římské architektury ve Španělsku.
Komentář: Neživá záhlaví, tučně tištěné versálky ve výši 2-3 řádků, jednoduché linky.
Dobová vazba z hnědé teletiny, ve hřbetu 6 vazů, ve druhém poli původní vínově červený kožený štítek s tlačeným a zlaceným názvem, v ostatních polích tlačený a zlacený rostlinný ornament, červeně barvené ořízky, na přídeštích a předsádkách dobový škrobový papír. Vazba ohmataná a místy lehce odřená, naražené rohy. Mapa Španělska místy mírně pomačkaná, příloha mezi str. 326-327 při vnějším okraji v délce cca 4 cm natržená. Titulní list při okrajích lehce zašpiněný, papír místy mírně zahnědlý.
Henry Swinburne (8.7. 1743 Bristol - 1.4. 1803 Trinidad) autor cestopisů a kreslíř. V letech 1775-76 podnikl cestu po Španělsku, kterou v nabízené popsal, rukopis editoval a k vydání připravil Samuel Henley.
